Africa Centre for Women and Youth Sustainable Development (AfriC-WAYS) Initiative is a women-led, non-governmental, and non-profit organization established in 2018. It was officially registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2022 under the registration number CAC/IT/NO 185906. AfriC-WAYS is a gender-responsive organization promoting interfaith peaceful coexistence among community members and committed to empowering marginalized and vulnerable women and youth to achieve sustainable development. Headquartered in Katsina State, Nigeria, the organization also operates branch offices in Kebbi, Gombe, Adamawa, and Sokoto States. With aspirations to expand its impact across other African countries, AfriC-WAYS is driven by its slogan, “Reaching out for a change,” symbolizing its dedication to capacity building and sustainable development.
As an organization, we ensure we advocate for all the activity that was designed to be carried out and seek support, synergy, and collaborations with all stakeholders within the project communities.
We advocate for women and youth inclusion in governance, equal rights, and fairness for sustainable development.
As an organization, we train women and youth on different life skills for social and economic sustainable growth.
We support our beneficiaries with soft loans and train them on business strategies and models that ensure the startup and operation of sustainable businesses within project communities.
We train and empower women and youth in different agricultural activities, and in some cases, if funding is available, we support them with farm input.

The aim of the organization is to empower girl child/women and youth towards attaining social and economic development free from any form of SGBV.
To promote, peaceful and inclusive societies where individuals, particularly girls, women, and youth, can fully exercise their rights and actively engage in governance to achieve sustainable development.
